Free for those with a Fairlee Dump Pass
Must be sorted. Sorting before arriving at facility is recommended.
CARDBOARD along with boxboard, brown paper bags, newspaper, magazines, office paper (any color), shredded paper, junk mail, soft and hard cover books: Please note cardboard and boxboard must be free of all trash such as plastic, packing peanuts and Styrofoam. Boxes should be flattened.
ALUMINUM CANS: CLEAN AND RINSED aluminum cans – NO tin or pieces of aluminum
TIN: CLEAN AND RINSED tin cans, such as soup, coffee, tuna fish, dog or food etc. ALSO allowed aluminum foil and aluminum dishes such as pie plates and glass jar lids.
PLASTIC: NOW ACCEPTING NUMBERS 1 – 7. CLEAN AND RINSED bottles, containers, jugs (beverages/beauty and cleaning products/detergent), prescription vials, dairy tubs including butter, yogurt, sour cream, etc. Take out containers, flower pots and frozen food trays. NO PLASTIC BAGS (most stores will recycle plastic bags), NO PACKING MATERIALS (peanuts OR Styrofoam).
GLASS: CLEAN AND RINSED clear and colored, window glass and ceramics. REMOVE LIDS AND RECYCLE WITH TIN.

NO HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE (automotive fluids, batteries, chemicals etc.)
$2.00 per 13 gallon bag (white tall kitchen size)
$3.00 per 30 gallon bag or can (black trash size)
BULKY ITEMS accepted every Saturday (priced per item by vendor at transfer station) such as mattresses, furniture, (chairs, coaches etc.) tires, toilets, appliances (including refrigerators)

BRUSH DUMP: Natural and untreated wood (brush, live/dead tree cuttings). NO STUMPS OR TREATED/PAINTED/FINISHED WOOD. NO PRESSBOARD, PARTICLE BOARD, PLYWOOD. NO NAILS. NO PAPER, CARDBOARD OR BOXBOARD. Separate leaves into other pile. There is an attendant on duty at the brush dump if you have any questions.
Note: It is illegal to burn anything other than untreated wood. NO BURNING of paper, cardboard, tires and other rubber products. NO BURNING of treated, painted or finished wood; materials containing asbestos; asphalt roofing materials; insulation; plastic or any other synthetic material; oil; construction or demolition debris; garbage.
